Hello, Concerning the couple that confused the "The Law of Attraction and the Law of Cause and Effect" with the "The Law of Reciprocity," I've got the full story here. Please read carefully because there are some great lessons in action here that will help you understand and achieve God's wealthy mindset. Here's what my husband Jim did to save the day! Jim is in real estate and the husband and wife were his clients. He felt badly that he had prayed with these people after a careful discussion of what we were all going to pray about. Using the prayer of agreement, we all had to be of like mind. When my husband prays, he prays to get results! We had all agreed upon a specific dollar amount they would receive or a larger amount. However, the sales price of the house was to remain the same or be lowered if the market continued to decline. When they called to ask if they should increase the price of the house because they had a large number of people looking at it, my husband and I both told them absolutely not. But they insisted because they wanted to make even more money, not caring that the price was unfair as well as unrealistic. They were adamant about their decision, so my husband raised the price of the home. This is very unusual to do, especially in a declining market with more homes than buyers! My husband did his best to get their home sold, but it didn't receive any activity since the price increase. This bothered him greatly and he felt badly that he had prayed in agreement with people who weren't of the same mind. So he asked for guidance and prayed for an opportunity. And it came in a great way that blessed many. Jim had other clients who had developed a strong case of first time buyer remorse after they purchased a home. They said they had decided not to move and to remain in their apartment because they felt uncomfortable with a mortgage payment. So they dropped out of escrow and we lost the sale. Instead of being disappointed for losing the money, Jim and I were both thankful to God because we believed He would give us something better. A few weeks later Jim's idea came into play. He called the young couple and asked them to look at the house the other couple owned because he believed it was perfect for them. When they walked into the home, they fell in love with it. They bought it on the spot because the young woman said it was just like her grandmother's home and she loved the feeling it gave her. My husband worked the price of the home to make the owners happy and the young couple satisfied with their mortgage payment. So, now everyone is happy and we made money for the sale and the purchase of the home. Why did this work out so well for all? When we trust in God and do things His way, everyone wins. And if you noticed, just because this situation began with a mistake, it didn't mean God couldn't change the situation. He'll fix anything and make it better. As for us, it appeared as if we had lost a real estate deal and would never sell our client's listing because they resisted the truth, but by trusting in God and being thankful, He gave us more when all seemed impossible. Please keep in mind that this situation occurred in January of 2008; a very difficult market for real estate, especially in California. Another lesson here is that it doesn't matter what the circumstances or how difficult they might be, if we're looking to God as the supplier of our needs through Kingdom living, He will give us increase abundantly. So when things go wrong, always thank God anyway because He will have more for you than you believe you deserve or can conceive in your mind. Never be discouraged!
